Sam pulled into the driveway and parked the car. "So my uncle was going to give me a car for my 21st birthday, but I had already picked this one out. Instead, he just bought it for me and gave me the rest in cash."
"So what did you use the cash for?" Janie asked.
"Well, silly, today's your birthday. So I spent about half of it on a big surprise for you."

Awesome stuff! love the descriptions and details 
the only issue i had was that it seemed a little rushed... like it was running and gunning through to get to the expansion stuff... and Mai's reaction to a dream come true sitting on her couch seemed a little underwhelming...
